Diabolical Chipmunk

I just saw a chipmunk! He ran to this stone wall!

I know he is in there. I chased him to this wall!

I'm just gonna sit here and get him on the way out. He has to come out sometime!

I Rode In The Big Truck

Today I rode in the big truck. The humans were moving tree branches off the driveway after the big storm moved through. They were too busy ass sess ing the damage to take pictures.

It was a big storm with lot of boomies, I know a lot of you don't like boomies so I hope you didn't get them at your house. Not only were there boomies but there was hard cold rocks that the humans called hail. Also, there was strong wind that about blew me off my feets.

So there's lots of clean up to do that requires the humans to use 2 hands and then they can't take pictures of how helpful I am.

So here's an old one of me being cute.

I Gots Me an Award From Miley

Miley was very kind and sent me this award.

Here’s the rule, give thanks to the one who gave it to you and post it on your blog. List 7 things about yourself that other’s might find interesting and pass the award on to 7 of your favorite bloggers.

Thanks Miley!

So, now, seven things about ME?!

1. I have a pacemaker, no big surprise, but, did you know I got it when I was 15 months old. I'm the youngest dog to get a pacemaker at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. (Maybe the youngest in the Whole World!) (But I don't know)

2. I love my stuffies and don't tear them up. I might take off their eyes but that's it. I carry them around the toss them and play with them.

3. The humans used to feed me dry food (yuck) and I would pout when they fed me. It took them almost 2 years to figure out that I like canned food. Now I eat all my food right away, happily.

4. I'm very sensitive. If I get yelled at I pout and then you gotta make nice with me before I forgive. Even if some human accidently steps on me because they weren't looking I will be afraid of them for a while.

5. Farts surprise me. Sometime a big ol fart will come outta me and I will be so shocked that I run away from it.

6. I hide treats, especially if they came from a stranger (the UPS dude is not a stranger!). I take the treat and bury it somewhere. I don't know why but I just do this.

7. I sit on humans. If they're standing I sit on their feet. If they sit on the ground I sit on their legs. If they lay down I'll try to sit on their heads (this never goes over too well) or I sit on their bellies.

Seven doggies I want to give this award to:

Stella

Khyra

Max

Mango

Cloud

Sprite

Africa

Mini Me

Here my newest pal "Mini Me. He squeaks but unlike a lot of doggies I will not rip him open. I don't gut my stuffies. I love them and carry them around and ruff them up a bit.

Another Rainy Day and My First Trip to the Store

Well I hope the humans are happy. They spent the nicest day this week on the large loud grass shortening machines.

The gloom is back so how are they going to entertain me?

CAR RIDE! Woohoo!

I loves me a car ride!

Where are we going?

PET STORE! (For the record the humans let my foods supply get low and this was an emergency trip)

I have never been to a store before. I never get to go "in" anywhere except the vets.

It was a pretty long ride (the humans say we live in the middle of nowhere).

So we got to the store and I was pretty excited. The human planned on takin a bunch of pictures but I guess it was pretty hard to hang on to me and take pictures.

This is the only picture of me inside Pet Country.

So I got my foods and SCORE some toys! Here I am in the car with MINI ME!

So I got to have a new experience and now I have foods for many days AND I gots toys!

Humans Do The Strangest Things

Today was beautiful. It was sunny ALL DAY! A first for quite sometime. So you would think everyone would want to just enjoy it, you know, hang out, PLAY.

But, NO, not my humans. My humans spent all day on the large loud grass shortening machines. They JUST shortened the grass a few days ago! And, SURPRISE, it grew!

Now Princess Eva and Brice made a very interesting comment on one of my other post about how my humans keep washing my outdoor stuffies.

"Why do they insist on washing them when they know that we're just going to get them dirty again?"

Why?

Why do humans do the things they do?

Wash the stuffies, I'm just gonna get them dirty again.

Shorten the grass, it's just gonna grow again.

Sweep up the Hoover hairs, I'm just gonna shed more.

Give the Hoover a bath, I'm just gonna roll in a big stinky again.

Put all the stuffies in a pile, I've got to scatter them about again.

Wash the car rides, the muddy driveway's just gonna get um dirty again.

Make the bed, I'm just gonna unmake it again.

And they say they're EVOLVED!

Puh-leese!

How To Love a Duck

I know that some doggies like to rip apart their stuffies and sometimes others doggies stuffies (Gryff), but I like to take care and play with my stuffies for as long as I can.

If I get my outdoor stuffies too dirty the humans will wash them off and put them "up" to dry. "Up" means where I can't get them. I don't see why I can't have them when they are wet.

I got this duckie very dirty so I took it to the pond and washed it myself and played with it when it was wet! Ha!

My other duckie is "up" for now. *sigh*

Fourth of July Party

Here's some pictures from the Fourth of July party at my neighbors' house.

I found a nice shady place under a table.

This is Biscuit.

This is Oliver. He's my neighbor.

My cousin Gryff was there too. Of course he brought his ball.

I know there is good stuff in here.

Ooooh they have a nice view.

The boomies don't scare me. But I'm not really a "party" animal. I like people in small numbers and I'm kinda scared of other dogs. I guess I'm a bit of a homedoggie. The humans want some doggies to come to my house to see if I'm more social. I like people when they're at my house.

I'm just a different kind of dog.

I'm Goin to a Party

Our neighbors are having a 4th of July party and I'm invited. My name is on the invitation and everything. The humans say we have the bestest, nicest neighbors in the whole world.

I'm very excited but I'm keeping calm and cool.

Gryff stayed with us for a few days. He is invited to the party too. Gryff was hanging out in the pool with his ball. I don't go in the pool.

I do drink out of it sometimes, but the humans don't know that.
