My cousin Gryff slept over again. My humans bought him a cheep stuffie so he wouldn't destroy any of mine. That maniac gutted it in under 60 seconds. Then he started eye-ballin my stash. I hardly slept because I had to guard them.

I feel your pain, Hoover. We gets fosters sometimes wot guts my toys so mom has to put my faves up until the foster gets adopted. Gryff looks like he mite be one of those terriorizers. If that's the case it bet it only takes him 60 seconds!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you gotta watch the little doggies. Very sneaky. Don't turn your back on them for a second!
ReplyDeleteGood lukhk with the city boy again!

We have talked about this before, Hoover, but the more dogs I get to know, the more I realize the stuffee killers are in the majority and dogs like you and I are minority. Thats OK, though, I just couldn't tear mine up. Oh, I can pop off an eye now and then, but I could never destroy them. Hope you and Gryff had some good run-arounds though, did you?
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Stella
Hey there Hoover
ReplyDeleteWell done on guarding the stuffies! I'm with Stella...I also look after mine...have had them for many years and just sit and 'mouth' them. I don't even allow my pack near them...they are mine to look at forever!
Hope you survived Gryff.

Hi Hoover
ReplyDeleteYes visitors can be quite stressful can't they? I recently had two 'girlfriends' to stay for a few days and I never had a moments peace!
Cheers, H.
Oh I can see Gryff is a terrier ? Border Terrier ?.....60 seconds is not Dyos's record...
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should ask your Mom to put your toys in a basket ?
Kisses, Faya
What a pain! I have the same problem. Almost all of my toys are hidden and only come out during supervision due to some pointy snootered little beasts. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOnce a toy is deemed safe to leave out it is too boring to play with. How we suffer.

Mango
Oh Hoover you poor thing!!! Your gonna have to learn to sleep with one eye open when he's there!!! BOL!!!
ReplyDeletelotsa licks,
Miley
60 seconds? Awfully slow. Grins.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Gryff sounds like a dog after my own heart! 60 seconds??? Way to go, dude!!! **applauds**

It's the worst when they destroy your toys. I got Darwin a squeaky toy as a pre-spay treat, and we took it to the park to play with, and her friend Autumn a "muttstiff" chewed it and chewed it and chewed it and broke the squeaker on the first day!

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting our site, we love making new friends.
Wow, you've got a bionic heart! How totally cool!
Sorry you lost sleep over your toys, but I totally understand the importance of guarding ones stuff. I'm pretty good about keeping the stuffings inside where they belong, Nellie on the other hand... well let's just say that she and Gryff would get along splendidly.
We'll be adding you to our blog roll...
Paws-out
from your new buddies
