Where O Where Has My Human Gone

My house has a revolving door.

During "the week" there are lotsa workers here and I love them. They don't know the rules and do things like share lunches with me. Really great group of humans.

My regular humans usually are pretty reliable. But every now and again one of them will wander off and go missing for days. Luckily only one of them ever goes missing at a time so everyone here still gets fed and taken care of. Otherwise it would be total chaos!

Right now one human has gone missing. I've heard talk of a place called "Ohio" and the grandhumans needing help.

I'm not happy about it. I like things to stay the same. I like my humans where I can keep an eye on them.

I don't see why the grandhumans couldn't come here! They've done it before and I really like them. (Talk about rule breakers!)

I'm gonna pout!

  1. My momma left too and was replaced by a tall guy and another dog! Wierd! He seems to be pretty laid back on the rules though so it is not too bad. Still, hope all the humans get back where they belong soon!

  4. Our hu-grandparents live in the same town so my humans can help without leaving town, but they still leave us at home. How unfair.

  5. Yep, we know exactly what you are talking about. They come and go as they please. We are fond of those humans that break the rules too. We never know what they are going to slip us!

  6. This post makes me feel bad for leaving my dog at home everyday when I go to work. Even though every time you leave it feels like forever to them, I still regret leaving him every time I hear him bark out the window. I swear that I can hear him say "DADDY, DON'T GO" through his bark.

  7. We're sure your other human will return, sometimes they just need to go away to help others.

The good part is that they left you other humans who will break the rules and give you yummy food snack on. Now that's a great temporary fix!

  8. Hi Hoover
Yes grandhumans are just the business aren't they? For example, my human granny is a total pushover. She thinks that if I am begging, it could only because I am hungry because Gail starves me....I find it very advantageous to play along with this idea....
    Cheers! H.

  9. The humans here do the same thing, but luckily only one at a time goes missing, just like at your place. Mom goes to Ohio a few times a year to visit her family because she misses them, so she understands why your mom had to go to Ohio. She'll be back because she loves you! :)

  10. When I woz a yungun there was no way my mom could go missing. I would not come out of my crate for anybody else so I had to go missing wif my mom. (That plan werked grate for me.) We wented through that Ohio place a few times driving back and forth to that Mizoori place where my grandma lives. Hope your hooman finds their way home soon.

  11. Hey there, Hoover
Hang in there buddy...I am sure they will soon be back home! Grandparents are special folk to your humans, so just go with the flow. What about raiding a few cupboards or chewing up some cushions in the meantime.
    We are thinking of you.
